Job Summary
Lead Teacher for a Two Year Old Classroom in Riverside, CA. Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers; manage a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment; implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children; communicate with families about children’s progress; collaborate with center staff to support enrollment and engagement; build strong relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic learning environment where play and learning happen seamlessly. Requires 1+ year of professional teaching experience (6+ months minimum), high school diploma/GED (associate degree in ECE or related degree preferred), knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP), and state guidelines compliance; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
