Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Competitive pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA consideration, and one year of experience in a certified child development center are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field of study with child education courses
- CDA considered
- 1 year prior experience working in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
