Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Interact with parents and other staff members to foster collaboration. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field with child education courses required, plus CDA considered and one year prior experience in a certified child development center preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field of study with child education courses
- CDA considered
- 1 year prior experience working in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
