Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsibilities include leading, coaching, and mentoring teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom; implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers; creating a positive learning environment; regularly communicating with parents about children's progress via mobile apps and discussions; supporting center goals around enrollment and engagement; and building relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
