Job Summary
Lead Teacher role responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom environment; executing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum across Infants–Preschool; maintaining open communication with families; supporting enrollment and engagement goals; and building collaborative relationships with center staff. Requires developmentally appropriate practices knowledge, CPR/First Aid preferred, and state guidelines compliance; Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field preferred, HS diploma/GED accepted. Position located in Union, NJ (US) and is full-time with in-person responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
