Job Summary

Plan, prepare, and collaborate to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow. Masterfully implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, adapting approaches to individual developmental needs. Prioritize safety by safeguarding children in a nurturing environment while regularly updating parents on progress via mobile apps and in-person discussions. Collaborate with center staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals, cultivating warm relationships with families and colleagues. Ensure children's daily needs are met, including feeding, grooming, and active engagement in developmentally appropriate activities. Maintain full physical alertness to supervise by sight and sound, working outdoors in temperatures ranging from 20°F to 95°F.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • ECE coursework preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Extended experience in a childcare setting
  • History of classroom leadership roles
  • Deep-rooted passion for early childhood education
  • State-specific guidelines for the role
  • State and federal requirements including immunizations
  • Employment physicals
  • Required health and safety training
  • Full range of motion to stand and walk for extended periods without discomfort
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds safely
  • Ability to reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to use a stool or ladder to access high places as needed
  • Ability to supervise by sight and sound
  • Ability to work outdoors during portions of the day in temperatures ranging from 20°F (with wind chill) to 95°F
  • Ability to maintain mental and physical alertness and a consistent energy level to meet essential job functions
