Job Summary
Coordinate daily class operations by planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities in a safe environment. Work directly with children and parents to deliver quality customer service while observing student interests to develop engaging curriculum ideas. Communicate daily progress through mobile apps and personal discussions, maintaining professional relationships with faculty and families. Handle up to 50 lbs. for child safety and program facilitation while calmly addressing stressful situations. Enjoy 40 hours weekly with no weekends, earning $15 to $18/hr with full director support and scholarship coverage for early childhood education degrees.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Meets background check eligibility.
Desired Qualifications
- CDA, Associates, or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
- Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures.
- Is highly motivated and takes direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working in teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with outstanding ability to listen and follow-up on issues constructively.
