Job Summary
Lead Teacher at The Learning Experience responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring teachers, maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment, implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants to preschoolers, communicating with parents, supporting enrollment and engagement goals, and building relationships with families and coworkers. Requires guiding and modeling behavior, ensuring developmentally appropriate practices, and meeting state guidelines. Opportunities to lead classroom management, foster growth mindset, and create engaging, play- and learning-focused experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
