Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for implementing The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, leading and mentoring less experienced teachers, creating a safe, nurturing classroom for Infants-Toddlers-Preschool, and engaging families through updates on children’s progress. Responsibilities include lead coaching, modeling behaviors, maintaining a growth-mindset-friendly environment, partnering with center staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals, and ensuring child safety. The role emphasizes relationship-building with families and coworkers, communicating children’s milestones to parents via apps and personal discussions, and upholding developmentally appropriate practices and state guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred.
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required.
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
