Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for classroom leadership, implementing the LEAP Curriculum®, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment, communicating with families about child progress, collaborating with center staff to support enrollment and engagement, and building positive relationships with families and colleagues. The role emphasizes guiding and mentoring other educators, planning and coordinating a stimulating space for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers, and upholding state guidelines and health/safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience: Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership roles
- State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
- Must meet state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training
- ECE coursework preferred
