Job Summary
Lead Teacher leads classroom operations and mentoring, plans and collaborates to create a stimulating space for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, and implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®. Responsibilities include curriculum implementation, ensuring safety, communicating with families, collaborating with center staff to drive retention and enrollment, and building warm relationships with families and colleagues to support joyful learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership roles.
- State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Must meet state and federal requirements including immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
