Job Summary

Lead classroom instruction and mentorship for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers by planning stimulating environments, implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, and adapting activities to individual developmental needs. Prioritize safety by safeguarding children, addressing risks, and meeting daily physical needs including feeding and grooming. Collaborate with center staff to drive retention and enrollment goals while maintaining warm relationships with families through regular progress updates. Requires extended experience in childcare leadership, state compliance, and physical resilience for outdoor work in temperatures from 20°F to 95°F. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • ECE coursework preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Extended experience in a childcare setting
  • History of classroom leadership roles
  • Deep-rooted passion for early childhood education
  • State-specific guidelines for the role
  • State and federal requirements including immunizations
  • Employment physicals
  • Required health and safety training
  • Full range of motion to stand and walk for extended periods without discomfort
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds safely
  • Ability to reach, stretch, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to use a stool or ladder to access high places as needed
  • Ability to supervise by sight and sound
  • Ability to work outdoors during portions of the day in temperatures ranging from 20°F (with wind chill) to 95°F
  • Ability to maintain mental and physical alertness and a consistent energy level to meet essential job functions
