Job Summary
Lead Teacher at The Learning Experience leads classroom activities, plans and implements the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool levels, fosters a safe and nurturing environment, communicates regularly with families, and collaborates with center staff to drive enrollment and engagement. Must meet state guidelines, have at least a high school diploma or GED (ECE coursework preferred), bring extensive childcare leadership experience, and maintain compliance with immunizations and health-and-safety requirements. Responsibilities include classroom leadership, curriculum implementation, safety, family communication, center collaboration, and relationship-building with families and colleagues. The role emphasizes mentoring other educators, sustaining a stimulating learning space, and supporting the developmental needs and happiness of children.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
- High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in childcare setting with classroom leadership
- Must meet immunizations, employment physicals, and health and safety training requirements
