Job Summary
Lead Teacher responsible for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum, delivering age-appropriate lessons, creating a safe and inclusive classroom, and maintaining open communication with families. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, ensuring health and safety in accordance with licensing regulations, participating in ongoing professional development, observing and documenting children’s learning, collaborating with Assistant and Resource Teachers, and modeling positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare/preschool setting preferred
- Has completed state-required pre-service training
