Lead Teacher

Job Summary
The Lead Teacher will create a nurturing environment by implementing an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum using the proprietary Wonder of Learning® program. Responsibilities include curriculum implementation, classroom management, fostering family communication, supervising children to uphold health and safety standards, participating in professional development, assessing children's progress, supporting team collaboration, and modeling positive behavior guidance strategies. Passion for education and effective communication skills are essential. High school diploma and completion of state-required training are required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Desired Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
