Job Summary
Join The Goddard School as a Lead Teacher, implementing age-appropriate lesson plans using the proprietary Wonder of Learning® curriculum while creating a nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities include maintaining family communication, supervising children's activities, participating in professional development, and supporting team collaboration. Qualifications include a high school diploma, with preference for an associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Child Development Associate (CDA). Ideal candidates should have prior experience in childcare and effective communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
Desired Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
