Lead Teacher responsible for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum in a safe, nurturing classroom; delivering age-appropriate lessons; maintaining open communication with families; supervising children during indoor/outdoor activities; supporting professional development and collaboration with Assistant and Resource Teachers; documenting and assessing children's learning progress; modeling positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- state-required pre-service training completed
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
