Job Summary
Lead Toddler Teacher at The Goddard School in Glastonbury. Implement age-appropriate lessons using our Wonder of Learning curriculum, create a safe and nurturing classroom, maintain open communication with families, supervise health and safety, collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers, and observe/assess children’s progress to inform activities. Requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or similar) and CDA; 1-2 years of licensed childcare/preschool experience preferred. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and contributing to a positive, growth-oriented team environment.
Required Qualifications
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
