Job Summary
Educate children about fundamental concepts like colors, letters, numbers, and shapes while encouraging social interactions and self-esteem. Engage in creative learning methods including arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling to address early childhood development needs. Plan comprehensive curriculums and maintain classroom order and discipline. Supervise preschoolers during meal times and outdoor activities, communicating effectively with parents and state workers. Earn an additional bonus payment with base pay. Requires a child care credential, associate's or bachelor's degree, and a patient, compassionate attitude with strong mediation and nurturing abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to do outdoor activities with kids
- Must love working with kids
- Must be able to communicate effectively with parents
- Must be able to communicate with state workers
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Ability to communicate with young children at their level
- Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition
- Good mediation and nurturing abilities
- Must have a child care Credential, an associates or a bachelor's
