Job Summary
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum that support early childhood development while creating a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment. Monitor and assess student progress, documenting developmental milestones, and communicate regularly with parents regarding growth and behavior. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Requires CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, previous lead teacher experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to pass Tennessee background check.
