Job Summary
Lead Teacher (Preschool) at YMCA is responsible for planning and implementing classroom activities for children's development. The position entails adherence to safety and educational standards, supervision of the classroom, and communication with parents.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Obtain Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certification within first 60 days
- Two years’ experience working in early childhood field preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of child abuse and neglect laws
- Ability to drive a vehicle and transport children
