Job Summary
Lead Teacher at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House’s Early Childhood Center. Collaborates with Assistant Teacher(s) to create a developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschoolers; develops weekly plans and implements age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate development; performs ongoing assessments to differentiate strengths and needs; promotes parent engagement through monthly class meetings, conferences and home visits; collaborates with providers to adapt individualized curriculum for children with special needs; leadership trajectory in early childhood education.
Required Qualifications
- BA with NYS Certification required
- Masters degree with NYS Certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
