Job Summary
Lead Teacher at a preschool/child care center leads classroom activities, mentors fellow teachers, develops interactive learning experiences, manages curriculum implementation, ensures adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support center success. Responsibilities include classroom leadership, lesson planning, promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, and ensuring compliance with state and center requirements; candidates should have prior classroom leadership, ability to develop educational experiences, and responsiveness to families and licensing guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading a classroom
- Ability to meet state education requirements for the childcare center
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
- Florida Background Screening is required for employment
