Job Summary
Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment and ensure compliance with safety and ratio requirements. Lead activities that support children's learning and development while providing active supervision and guiding behavior through positive reinforcement. Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions, and observe, document, and share student progress with families. Collaborate with your team to deliver consistent, high-quality early learning experiences. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, and knowledge of state licensing requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and classroom compliance expectations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and team members
