Lead Teacher, Kindergarten

Lead Teacher for Kindergarten at Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School (SLA) in Philadelphia. Responsible for delivering instruction aligned to school goals, employing high standards, and differentiating instruction to support all learners, including ELL and students with special needs. Duties include implementing curricula and support materials, providing timely feedback on assignments, developing and implementing lesson/unit plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, maintaining student records, tracking progress, and participating in professional development and team planning. Ideal candidate will have strong classroom management, collaboration with peers, data-informed instructional planning, and the ability to leverage technology to differentiate instruction. Requires Bachelor’s Degree and PA Teaching Certificate (or valid out-of-state license) with background check and work authorization in the U.S.; Master’s degree preferred and two years urban teaching experience preferred. Ten-month, non-tenurable contract with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
