Job Summary
Lead Teacher for Kids Point Learning Center responsibilities include educating, caring for, and supervising children from birth to 4 years old; promote positive interactions, plan and organize activities, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. Requires a caring, compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to participate in ongoing licensing training. Must be 21+ or have a high school diploma or equivalent. This faith-based role emphasizes loving, Christian-based values and compliance with DECAL licensing.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous daycare experience in supporting children’s growth and development
- Have a good understanding of DECAL licensing requirements
- Have a genuinely caring and compassionate attitude when caring for children
- Strong communication (oral & written) and listening skills to converse with children, parents, and other personnel
- Willing to receive on-going training in compliance with center licensing
- A faithful believer in Jesus Christ; high moral character and values
