Job Summary
Lead a high-quality, nurturing Infant Toddler classroom team by planning activities and tailoring curriculum to meet children's social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development. Communicate with and support families in meeting their children's and families' needs while working with management to maintain Head Start Performance Standards and Licensing requirements. This role involves 40 hours per week year-round, starting in Fall 2026, with a pay range of $20.76-$22.51/hour plus state workforce salary supplements. Candidates must hold a Child Development Associate credential, possess excellent communication skills, and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Child Development Associate credential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to function autonomously and as part of a team
- Considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry, and perform other high-energy activities
- Competency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Travel within the service area
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree (related)
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in early care and education
