Job Summary
Lead a high-quality, nurturing Infant Toddler classroom team by planning activities and tailoring curriculum to meet children's social, emotional, physical, literacy, and cognitive development. Communicate with and support families in meeting their children's and families' needs while working with management to maintain Head Start Performance Standards and Licensing requirements. This 40-hour, year-round position starts in Fall 2026 with a pay range of $20.76-$22.51/hour plus eligible state wage supplements. Candidates must possess an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, three years of supervisory experience, and current CPR and First Aid certifications. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
- Associate's degree in a closely related field
- Child Development Associate credential with commitment to complete Associate's Degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Five years of experience in early care and education
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate others
- Ability to function autonomously and as part of a team
- Considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry, and perform other high-energy activities
- Competency with Microsoft Office
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel within the service area
- Ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications
