Job Summary
Lead Teacher on the Early Head Start team responsible for creating a warm, developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants to five-year-olds. Works as part of a teaching team (minimum two teachers per classroom) to design and implement activity plans based on assessment data, foster exploration across indoor and outdoor environments, and engage families to support child development. Acts as a liaison between Head Start families and community resources. Requires an AA in Early Childhood Education or a CDA credential (Bachelor’s preferred); benefits include college reimbursement, paid trainings, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k), and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education or a current Child Development Associate Credential (CDA)
