Lead Teacher Daycare (Infants)

Job Summary
Implements developmentally appropriate plans and activities for infants in daycare, maintains daily schedules and learning centers, supervises teacher assistants and volunteers, prepares materials, communicates with parents/caregivers, documents progress and IFSP/IEP compliance, and ensures adherence to NC childcare rules; requires an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree with preschool experience and Infant Toddler certification eligibility. Responsibilities include organizing classroom structure, maintaining portfolios (Kaymbu), conducting parent conferences, and ensuring safe supervision and caregiving across the day.
Required Qualifications
- Two year associate degree in Early Childhood Education or 4 year Human Services Degree plus 1 year preschool experience
- Must be able to obtain Infant Toddler Associate or Specialist Certification
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
