Job Summary
Lead Teacher at Crowley Center responsible for the instructional program for 4-year-old children in the Great Start Readiness Program. Duties include coordinating parent and community volunteers, conducting home visits and conferences with families, maintaining lesson plans and individual student records, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires Michigan teaching certification (ZA or ZS) or a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/child development with a preschool specialization; bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Strong emphasis on developing positive relationships with students, families, and staff; ability to coordinate community involvement and adhere to applicable state/federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Michigan Certification with a ZA or ZS Endorsement or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood or child development with a specialization in preschool teaching
