Job Summary
Write and implement daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate for children up to five years of age. Meet physical, emotional, and educational needs through close supervision, observation, and supportive interactions. Assist the Director in creating service plans for children with special needs while maintaining accurate classroom records and documentation. Communicate with administrative staff to ensure licensing, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently upheld. Delegate appropriate duties to teacher assistants as needed. This role supports a cradle-to-career continuum of services for over 600 children at Eliada Homes' 5-Star accredited facility in Western North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood
- currently enrolled in Early Childhood program
- Comparable degrees in Psychology
- Comparable degrees in Social Work
- Comparable degrees in Elementary Education
