Job Summary
Lead Teacher for a 2-year-old classroom responsible for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum, creating age-appropriate lesson plans, maintaining a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom, communicating with families, supervising children during indoor/outdoor activities, participating in ongoing professional development, and documenting children’s progress while collaborating with Assistant and Resource Teachers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- State-required pre-service training completed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in handling children
Desired Qualifications
- CDA preferred
- associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
