Job Summary
Lead Talent Assessment Scientist responsible for end-to-end implementation of pre-hire assessments, from stakeholder needs analysis and job analyses to implementation and validation. Role includes leading large-scale assessment initiatives, training recruiters and hiring managers, designing and leading research projects (validation, quality of hire), collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project plans, and providing expert consultation to leadership on best practices in talent management and employee selection. Requires mastery in assessment methodologies (CTT/IRT), statistical modeling, data-driven influence with senior leaders, and the ability to work in Boeing's dynamic, matrixed environment in Seattle or Portland.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in database management, programming, statistical modeling and/or machine learning (SQL, R, Python, JMP, SPSS, SAS)
- Experience implementing pre-hire assessments in large organizations
- Experience communicating technical results to non-technical audiences
- Experience writing technical documentation aligning with legal and professional standards (EEOC/OFCCP)
