Job Summary

Own full-cycle recruitment for Urgent Care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants across New England, from sourcing through onboarding. Develop proactive sourcing strategies leveraging professional networks, medical schools, and industry organizations to build robust pipelines for current vacancies and new clinic openings. Personally manage high-priority candidates, conduct thorough assessments, lead offer negotiations, and partner with Medical Leadership to establish effective selection strategies. Mentor the broader Talent Acquisition team on provider recruiting best practices while maintaining accurate ATS data and monitoring key performance indicators. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating workforce needs into actionable recruiting strategies and ensuring a responsive, transparent candidate experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience
  • demonstrated success recruiting physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
  • Healthcare and Urgent Care recruiting experience
  • Deep understanding of provider recruitment, including sourcing, candidate engagement, licensure considerations, compensation, competitive markets, and closing strategies
  • Established provider network
  • Strong knowledge of the New England market
  • Able to translate business and workforce needs into practical recruiting strategies
  • Proactively anticipate hiring challenges
  • Builds credibility and trusted relationships with Medical Leadership, Operations, and hiring managers
  • Comfortable providing recommendations, challenging assumptions, and influencing decisions
  • Experienced in identifying and engaging passive candidates through creative, targeted, and relationship-driven sourcing strategies
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
  • Skilled at navigating sensitive conversations, negotiating offers, and closing candidates
  • Understands provider compensation, competitive recruiting activity, candidate availability, and market dynamics
  • Uses that knowledge to inform recruiting strategy
  • Builds authentic relationships with candidates
  • Uses recruiting metrics and market data to evaluate pipeline health, identify challenges, and improve hiring outcomes
  • Willingly shares expertise and serves as a resource to other recruiters
  • Able to independently manage multiple complex searches, competing priorities, and stakeholder relationships
  • Maintains strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Proficient with ATS platforms, sourcing tools, recruiting technology, Microsoft Office, and data/reporting tools
