Job Summary
Lead a team of systems and electrical engineers in behavior modeling and requirements decomposition for system, sub-system, and software design. Drive integrated solutions and advocate for quality across ground system design while partnering with solution leads to develop execution plans. Work with customers to document complex electronic and electrical system requirements, utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering tools to ensure traceability. Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle, partnering closely with the test lead and chief integrator. Travel up to 10% of the time domestically. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 7+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 3+ years of experience with defining system architecture and requirements or verification and validation activities
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading an engineering team
- Experience working on proprietary programs
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML)-compatible tool for systems architecture and model development
- Experience with Mission Systems architectures and Open Missions Systems (OMS) and/or Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
