Lead Systems Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Lead cross-functional program management and technical leadership for the development and integration of novel hardware, fluidics and electronics into clinical diagnostics analyzers. Drive feasibility studies, design changes, and end-to-end lifecycle activities from design to delivery, coordinating schedules, budgets, and resources. Act as the primary conduit for project updates to functional leaders, leading planning, testing of prototype instruments, field trials, and ensuring compliance with design controls. On-site role in Bengaluru North – BDC, contributing to both new product development and sustaining existing products through program resources and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years direct work experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Systems Engineering; or Master’s degree with 6+ years direct work experience in a related Engineering discipline
- Experience in IVD optics systems and/or subsystems, especially imaging-based optics
- Experience in IVD fluidics subsystems, especially Flowcell based fluidics
- Experience in designing, integrating, or testing with large, complex medical, IVD, and/or analytical instruments
- Nice-to-have: Fluidics, precision liquid handling, automation hardware and sensors; multi-cycle integration test, risk retirement and characterization in Agile environments
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and tools (JMP, Minitab, Excel statistics macros)
