Job Summary
Lead HVDC system design and study activities: interpret customer technical enquiries, design cost-effective HVDC main scheme solutions, and produce specifications for HV equipment. Drive development and industrialization of solution tools and processes, perform system studies and witness testing, provide technical leadership and guidance to peers, and engage in customer-facing responsibilities. Contribute to external activities by publishing technical papers and participating in industry groups. Work within a safety-conscious environment and support company policies. Relocation is provided. Proficiency in Excel and Python, ability to deliver under deadlines, and strong communication and mentoring skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Power Systems Engineering degree, MSc and above
- 8 to 10 years minimum experience in industrial engineering roles, out of which 2 to 3 years experience in HVDC domain is preferable
- Proficient with Excel and Python
- Ability to work to deadlines with high quality, sense of urgency and delivery
- Technical leadership and mentoring
- Good technical communication skills
- Technical reporting and presentation
- Structured approach to sharing knowledge and experience
- Self-motivating, proactive and results driven
- Team player and ability to work independently
