Job Summary
Lead Systems Engineer - Systems Design for HVDC: design cost-effective HVDC main schemes, specify high-value equipment, and develop/industrialize solution tools and processes. Responsibilities include performing studies and delivering study reports, producing specifications for HV equipment, witnessing equipment testing, and providing technical guidance to peers. Role involves external engagement (publishing technical papers, participating in CIGRE/IEC/IEEE), development of new HVDC technologies, and contributing to design guides. Requires a Power Systems Engineering degree (MSc or above), 8–10 years of industrial engineering experience with 2–3 years in HVDC preferred, strong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills. Relocation assistance provided and locations include Noida and Pallavaram, India.
Required Qualifications
- Power Systems Engineering degree, MSc or above
- 8-10 years minimum experience in industrial engineering roles
- 2-3 years experience in HVDC domain (preferable)
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring
- Good technical communication, technical reporting and presentation
- Ability to work to deadlines with high quality and sense of urgency
- Customer facing experience
- Ability to be a team player and work independently
