Job Summary
Technically lead the system integration team responsible for large-scale hardware/software integration across multiple sub-systems in an automotive embedded environment. Must have strong C programming for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M and A series), bare-metal development for high-performance real-time systems, and deep experience with real-time OS (AUTOSAR OS, FreeRTOS, Zephyr). Responsibilities include defining and updating integration and testing strategy, driving the software integration process to deliver a quality SDK to customers, automating manual operations with reusable tools, and coordinating with HW/SW teams and validation to resolve issues. Requires expertise in inter-processor communication, experience with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, CAN analysers), ability to produce technical architecture designs and user manuals, traceability to requirements, and familiarity with DOORS9/DOORS-NG, Git/Subversion, and Agile CI/CD processes. Knowledge of AUTOSAR/ASPICE is a plus. Education: BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering; 6+ years in embedded systems; automotive domain experience preferred. The role emphasizes leadership within the integration team and collaboration with quality, validation, and CM/BM groups to deliver robust, auditable software for automotive applications.

- 6+ years of experience in embedded systems, development and integration
- Strong C programming skills for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M and A series)
- Bare metal programming for high performance real time systems
- Experience with real time operating systems such as AUTOSAR OS, FreeRTOS, Zephyr
- Experience with inter-processor communication software stack development
- Electronics knowledge and hardware debugging skills (reading schematics, test equipment usage)
- Experience with architectural design and user manuals
- Experience with large-scale HW/SW integration across sub-systems
- Traceability to system/software requirement specifications
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Git, Subversion)
- Familiarity with requirement management tools (DOORS9, DOORS-NG)
- Knowledgeable about Agile software development including CI/CD
- Knowledge of AutoSAR and ASPICE processes
- Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills
- Natural team player
- Experience in automotive industry preferred
