Job Summary
Lead System Administrator role overseeing a team of system administrators, designing and expanding the company’s system infrastructure, coordinating task distribution within the team, monitoring and responding to incidents, participating in planning and deployment of new systems and services, and budgeting for infrastructure. Requires 5+ years as a systems administrator/lead, team management experience, strong virtualization knowledge, experience with multi-tier networks, hands-on with on-premises Microsoft servers and Linux servers, and ability to plan infrastructure growth. Employment is official with 24 days of vacation, medical insurance after successfully passing probation, and opportunities to propose and implement ideas in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as system administrator or lead
- experience managing a team of sysadmins
- deep knowledge of virtualization systems
- experience with multi-tier and segmented network infrastructures
- extensive experience with on-premises Microsoft servers
- experience with Linux servers
- ability to plan infrastructure development
