Job Summary
The Lead Swim Team Coach at Xenia YMCA will oversee training and coaching for competitive swimming participants of various age groups. Responsibilities include implementing training plans, ensuring safety, maintaining discipline among swimmers, and adhering to YMCA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Certification requirements include CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid
- Must obtain YMCA Swim Coach Certification and USA Swimming Coach Certification as needed and renew annually
Desired Qualifications
- 2 – 4 years swim coach experience preferred
- Experience with Team Unify software platform preferred
- American Swim Coaches Association Levels 1 – 3 preferred
