Job Summary
Lead cross-functional SAP-driven portfolio optimization efforts to improve inventory efficiency and asset utilization. Drive vendor rationalization and asset optimization through standardized SAP processes and performance reporting. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and automating SAP reports; creating SOPs for SAP processes; budgeting for cylinder asset packages (GDE) and minor budgets; monitoring inventory, dead stock, and backorder/transfer activities; coordinating with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Operations to rationalize product portfolios and suppliers; and leveraging analytics (Excel, Power BI/Tableau) to enable decision-making. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 7+ years in relevant roles with SAP experience (MM/SD/PP/FI), and strong analytical skills with knowledge of SAP ERP processes and data mining. Preferred exposure to capital/asset budgets, portfolio rationalization, vendor consolidation, and related analytics tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or Analytics roles with hands-on SAP experience (MM/SD/PP/FI or relevant modules)
- Strong proficiency in SAP ERP processes and data mining tools
- Knowledge of retail inventory processes and cycle counts
- APICS/CSCP, CPIM, or PMP is a plus
