Lead Supply Chain Engineer

Job Summary
Control procurement processes for critical materials at the right cost, time, and quality while deploying and maintaining material master and inventory replenishment plans. Lead Material Review Board meetings to optimize obsolete inventory and manage excess materials through cycle counting programs with daily resolution of discrepancies. Improve inbound order management by tracking critical orders, ensuring on-time deliveries, and coordinating with Quality Assurance for inspection upon delivery. Develop strong relationships with key suppliers by measuring performance and resolving issues regarding non-quality, missing, or damaged materials. Optimize inventory levels using Kanban and VMI best practices to reduce holding costs and ensure accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Material & Metallurgical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Material Management, Supply Chain, or Procurement
- Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems
- Proven experience in leading or supporting procurement/supply chain project deployments
- High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Willing to work at Gebze plant
