Job Summary
Own the supplier selection and negotiation process, driving RFx and supplier selection, negotiating best-in-class value, and closing contract negotiations to support a seamless transition into production. Manage business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional leaders to evolve policies and procedures, and travel 20% to support supplier engagement and program milestones.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA and 8+ years of experience, or MBA/MS and 5+ years of experience
- Automotive or Aerospace cost negotiation expertise
- In-depth knowledge of high-volume supply contracts
- Strong executive communication and internal/external negotiation skills
- Solid analytical and computer skills (excel/sheets, word/docs, powerpoint/slides)
