Job Summary

Directs daily field operations for a $5-$50M project, coordinating trade contractors and sub-contractors to ensure schedule adherence and high-quality work. Develops and communicates work plans, manages project logistics, and creates contingency plans while maintaining daily reports and documentation. Enforces safety compliance as the primary safety representative, leads contractor meetings, and trains direct reports including Field Engineers and Superintendents. Establishes credibility with owners, unions, and partners while collaborating with business development to integrate sales strategies and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • 7-12 years of experience leading a component of work or whole project for a value of $30 million or larger on commercial/industrial construction project(s) in a superintendent role
  • OSHA 30-hour certified
  • STS-C Certification
  • First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with the project team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of suite of construction software tools, including logistics and scheduling software
  • Construction-document and drawing literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction
  • Experience and proficiency in most divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of construction safety processes and ability to enforce the project safety plan
  • Ability to create an environment where 'safety first' is the culture and all trades people work with an incident and injury free attitude
  • Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, English major preferred
