Job Summary
Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions for patients recovering from Opioid Use Disorder while performing initial and follow-up assessments. Prepare individualized treatment plans, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate aftercare and referrals as needed. Serve as a liaison between referral sources and insurance carriers, manage case management duties, and ensure all patient care documentation is completed timely and within policy guidelines. Coordinate team activities and provide clinical guidance to other personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university
- Experience providing counseling in an addiction recovery, detox, substance use disorder (SUD), or opioid treatment program (OTP) environment
- LCAS, LCAS-A, LCSW-A, LCSW, CADC
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a Master's degree in social or health services from an accredited college or university
- Master's degree: Minimum 6 years counseling work experience
- Bachelor's or Associate degree: 8 years of work experience
- No degree: 10 years of counseling work experience
- Prior knowledge/experience working with MAT (medication-assisted treatment) is highly preferred
- Previous experience providing guidance and direction to others
