Job Summary
Lead Studio Operator role overseeing leadership and mastery of broadcast operations across camera, lighting, and virtual technologies for live productions; strong expertise with a wide range of equipment (Sony, Grass Valley, Canon, Fujinon; robotic cameras; VR/AR graphics); advanced workflow and quality control, training, and staff development; responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex studio productions and ensuring adherence to SOPs and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years practical TV Production or related experience at the large market or network level
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to alter shifts/days off and work overtime to accommodate projects and departmental objectives
- Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (written and spoken) – English/Spanish
- Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Studio Production, Journalism, or related field
