Job Summary
Lead Studio Operator sought to oversee and execute high-level broadcast operations across camera, lighting, and virtual/AR technologies for live productions. Responsibilities include expert handling of camera systems (Sony, Grass Valley, Canon, Fujinon), robotic cameras, color correction, lighting boards, and multi-source routing; ensuring waveform and vectorscope accuracy; operating and troubleshooting a range of studio equipment; participating in training and documentation; leading staff development and project-based initiatives; and driving adoption of new workflows and technologies to improve production efficiency. Strong leadership, independent work capability, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years practical TV Production or related experience at the large market or network level
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to alter shifts/days off and work overtime to accommodate projects and departmental objectives
- Bilingual (written and spoken) – English/Spanish
- Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Studio Production, Journalism, or related field
