The Lead Structural Project Engineer provides project management services that meet or exceed customer expectations, acting as the single point of contact for projects. Responsibilities include timely communication, risk management, and ensuring milestone dates are met. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, professional engineer certification, and at least 5 years of experience in structural steel building projects, including knowledge of relevant design codes and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
  • Registered Professional Engineer certification
  • 5 years of experience designing and/or managing structural steel building projects
  • Experience with heavy industrial crane buildings
  • Familiarity with IBC, AISC, AISE 13, MBMA codes and guidelines
  • Proficiency in STAAD, RISA, RAM, SAP 2000, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD
